The main exhibition of #nftse presents around 12 displays, with 4-5 pieces suspended from the captivating “fallero” tree crafted by local artists. The remaining displays surround the tree, all-embracing its green and nature theme.

The exhibition aims to emphasize the importance of preserving Valencian forests and promote the need for environmental protection.Located in Valencia, Spain, this region is renowned for its unique irrigation system and diverse flora.

However, urbanization, industrialization, wildfires, and climate change threaten its preservation, making this collaboration meaningful and purposeful, beyond digital realms.

The theme revolves around eco-friendly NFTs and their potential to contribute to large-scale environmental care.

Zancan, the curator, will handpick the artworks displayed on the high-quality hanging exhibits within the tree based on his specific criteria for this event.

The Need For This Project

The Valencian community has grappled with numerous wildfires in recent years.

The region has been struck by multiple wildfires since 2016, causing severe environmental damage.

In 2020, several wildfires wreaked havoc, while in 2019, a wildfire destroyed 3,500 hectares of land and displaced hundreds of families. Large-scale fires also occurred in 2018 and 2017.

In response, the Valencian community introduced a new fire protection plan in 2020 to increase awareness of wildfire threats, however, in 2023, the first major fire of the year in Spain has already destroyed 3,000 hectares.

This is the call to provide support and the Zancan project at the NFT Show Europe will help to do this.

The Association Of Forest Municipalities Of The Valencian Community

The Association of Forest Municipalities of the Valencian Community (AMUFOR) is a group of local entities located in the Valencian Community that own forest land in their area.

Exploring forestry through two perspectives: as forest landowners and as representatives of rural inhabitants and owners.

The associated entities, being the administration closest to society, feel the need to actively participate in forest management to improve the quality of our overall ecosystem.

Their goals include protecting the environment and nature in forested areas while maintaining harmony with local populations, fostering the growth of the forestry sector at all levels, and contributing to the advancement of forestry culture.
