TLC Offers Ownership Of Classic Hits Including Royalty Shares And Tezos-based NFTs

TLC is an American girl group that scored multiple number one singles and four multi-platinum albums.

Having sold over 65 million records worldwide, TLC is one of the best-selling American girl groups. VH1 ranked TLC as the greatest female group, placing them at number 12 on the list of 100 Greatest Women in Music.  

TLC signed a partnership with SongVest https://www.songvest.com/  to re-record classic versions of their hits and sell shares to eligible fans.

This way, TLC creates an opportunity for fans to buy fractionalized ownership of these recordings.

For this drop, SongVest collaborates with Tezos-based NFT Platform OneOf. 

“Buyers will have the opportunity to claim a complimentary digital collectible, provided by OneOf, for each SongShare purchased.”   

A total of 3 songs will be re-recorded and 50% of the streaming royalties will be shared.

“SongVest says the limited run of TLC SongShares will be available through VIP Auctions on Friday, May 26. There will be 450 shares of  “Creep – TLC Version,” 200 shares of “Diggin’ On You – TLC Version,” and 1,900 shares of “No Scrubs – TLC Version.”

The fractionalized shares of these three TLC songs will be made available to fans as ‘SongShares’ which are SEC-qualified fractionalized shares of music royalty streams that anyone can buy.

The complimentary collectibles can be claimed on OneOf as Tezos-based NFTs.
