The News, One Meme At A Time On MemeCast

MemeCast

MemeCast is getting ready to bring you the news, one meme at a time. The news meme marketplace, launching next month, is going to mix things up and give your front-page news a facelift.

Why news memes? It’s science, our attention span is getting shorter and shorter.

On average, we spend 7.8 seconds per item when we “read” the newspaper. That’s as long as it takes to read a few headlines.

MemeCast will give creators the tools needed to generate a meme, create, sell, and buy news memes as NFTs.

How It Works

  1. Sync your wallet

  2. Explore the Marketplace, trending topics, or filter by topics: 24/7 News, Culture, Tech

  3. Let’s interact! Users can scroll NFT news memes and choose to leave a comment, upvote or downvote

  4. Ready to share the news? Go to your dashboard and select an original news meme you have designed, or upload your image to generate your own meme, write a news brief, and list!

All images created must include a news brief description, think of it as a caption. Generate a meme using original photographs as news is unfolding, or with original artwork, and catchy headlines.

“NFTs are here to stay, and they are changing the way we collect things like art, sports cards, comic books, and yes, even the news,” Selene Garza, MemeCast CEO & Founder, said.

A meme is a quick way to widely spread information. Your NFT news meme has the potential to become a highly sought-after image that features breaking news, historic events, sports moments, entertainment, or it can just be a quirky way to tell and digest information as it comes to us.

The team is currently running a news meme contest and will give away 20 tez to one winner.

Winners will be announced Friday, Aug. 25 at 12 p.m. EST. Follow MemeCast on Twitter for more details @memecast3
