Tez in Japan

Tokyo, Japan – Art collectors and enthusiasts are invited to attend the opening of “Tez in Japan,” a digital art exhibition at the NOX Gallery in Tokyo.

Curated by Yuki Ama, an Italian art director and collector of digital art, the exhibition will be on display from January 7th to 8th, 2023 and admission is free.

The exhibition will feature a collection of digital artwork from some of the most talented artists in the Tezos scene, including:

Jesse Draxler, Bahrull Marta, Gammatrace, Monsuta, Kyle Kemink, Barbara Bezina, A.L Crego, Le Chat Noir, SUTU, Nicola Villa, Danctrl, Bahrul Marta, Haydiroket, Chepertom, RUBENFRO and many more.

Through this exhibition, Yuki hopes to demonstrate the limitless potential of digital art and its ability to transcend traditional boundaries.

As Yuki stated:

“The Tezos community is at the forefront of a movement that is changing the course of art as we know it. By bringing together these talented artists and showcasing their work, we hope to inspire others and demonstrate the power of this medium.

The convergence of physical and digital art is rapidly advancing, and we believe that this exhibition will be a testament to the limitless potential that lies ahead.”

In addition to the exhibition, Yuki will present his book, “RIP HEN: The death and rebirth of the decentralized movement,” which tells the story and chronicles the most important events of Hic et Nunc, the first web3 site on the Tezos blockchain that changed the course of digital art forever. The book will be released on March 3rd, 2023.

Cutcha, the co-founder of the NOX Gallery, expressed his excitement about hosting this exhibition and bringing the Tezos art movement to Japan.

“We are thrilled to be able to showcase Yuki Ama’s collection and to be a part of the effort to introduce Tezos art to Japan.

The Tezos art movement is still relatively unknown in Japan, and we hope that this exhibition will serve as a bridge between Japan and the rest of the world.”
