Subtile Art Gallery, Supported By Deloitte And Elvinger Hoss Host The First NFT Exhibition Through Kalamint.io

Subtile art gallery, supported by Deloitte and Elvinger Hoss host the first NFT exhibition through Kalamint.io

Subtile art gallery, Luxembourg is making their grand entrance to NFTs through Kalamint.io, an NFT marketplace built on Tezos, a green and energy efficient LPoS blockchain.

Supported by big names such as Deloitte and Elvinger Hoss, the first exhibition features noted English artist Phillip Fotheringham-Matt.

The 2021 Deloitte Art and Finance Report shows that 64% of younger collectors expressed a strong interest in NFT compared to 18% of the older ones and as a young and innovative gallery, Subtile is entering the NFT arena.

After much research on the choice of blockchain and the marketplace, Subtile chose Kalamint to be the platform of choice for their debut owing to its energy-efficient nature and also the fact that Kalamint stores all the NFT data on-chain meaning it can never be altered or lost.

Speaking about the event, Jesus Pena of Deloitte said:

“When Subtile reached out to us for a solution, we did an assessment on the existing marketplaces considering many aspects such as protocol, user interface, fees, integration and the way NFT data is stored.

Kalamint was the best ranked in many of these aspects, so the choice was pretty easy. Furthermore, the support by the Kalamint team was so straightforward, we are really confident that it is the right choice”

Chris Deschenes, CEO of Kalamint remarked:

“We are excited that Subtle has chosen Kalamint. Not only does it show we are storing data to last, but the correlation between the physical and digital realms is exactly where we feel that the future is headed for artists and collectors.”
