Golden Goals Launches NFT Platform On Tezos And Partners With French Top Tier Football Team FC Nantes

Golden Goals

Golden Goals is a brand new sports NFT platform built on Tezos which allows for fan NFT experiences when interacting with their favourite football teams. Golden Goals is described as:

“The first function of Golden Goals is to be an NFT marketplace in the world of football. That is to say a space allowing you to create, exchange and exhibit your NFTs.

We also believe that Golden Goals brings together the digital football collections of clubs and its fans, and is a testament to the sometimes lifelong commitment of the men and women who make football an art and the most exciting sport in the world.

Like a stadium, Golden Goals brings together fans and their emotions.”

euraNov

Golden Goals has been created by a company called euraNov, who have offices in both Paris and Lille. They are a digital transformation and consulting company who specialize in Salesforce, Dropbox and HelloSign. They also specialize in blockchain and Esports.

Using The Platform

Users of the Golden Goals platform don’t need to submit their registration details to use the platform, however, in order to buy, sell, or create, they will need to use a Tezos wallet.

One of the example wallets which is given to users in the FAQ section is the Temple Wallet. Users are then given directions on how to credit their wallet with tez via Ramp. This enables Golden Goals users to credit their accounts using fiat within the platform itself.

The platform allows users to create their own NFTs costing just a few cents using the Tezos blockchain. The platform takes a 3% fee.

Golden Goals state on their website that they chose Tezos in part due to being an environmentally friendly blockchain.

Club Benefits

One of the interesting dynamics of the Golden Goals platform is that it allows users to donate to their favorite clubs. Users can choose to donate (between 1% and 20%). The user can choose this percentage immediately in the case of a fixed price sale, and at the end of the auction in the case of an auction.

The clubs themselves can also create and sell NFTs through the platform, enabling NFT fan experiences.

Certified GOAL NFTs And FAN NFTs

On the Golden Goals platform, there are two types of NFTs available (GOAL and FAN). GOAL NFTs on the platform are certified NFTs are NFTs that can only be created by verified users such as football clubs.

Fan NFTs can be created by anyone and they can be associated with the universe of a particular club by the creator.

Some certified NFTs on the platform will allow for special privileges such as being able to acquire the physical representation of the NFT.

The SUZ Token

The Golden Goals platform also has a token. The SUZ token is:

“is a token (cryptocurrency) on the Tezos blockchain created by the company behind Golden Goals (EuraNov) and intended for all of its present and future blockchain applications. In the short term, this will be used to buy premium and special NFTs, and for Golden Goals’ gamification logic.”

For while stocks last, users of the Golden Goals platform who purchase NFTs will receive SUZ tokens to their wallets.

Golden Goals And FC Nantes Collaborate

On the 4th of August, it was announced that FC Nantes, a French top tier football team playing in Ligue 1 had partnered with Golden Goals to launch the first NFTs in its long history. The partnership would offer:
