fx(hash) – Art Is Evolving – An NFT Platform That Enables You To Launch A Generative Art Series On Tezos

Generative art is art that in whole or in part has been created with the use of an autonomous system. This means that within certain preset boundaries, but without further human guidance, random outputs of art are generated. 

We can make a distinction between abstract generative art and more character-based generative art. Abstract generative art is mostly created through an algorithm that follows a pattern of shapes, lines and/ or colors to generate an art series.

Character-based generative art follows a basic character and changes the character slightly per edition. Usually, certain repetitive perks that vary in scarcity levels are added randomly throughout the series. This creates a way to rank the final series of characters on scarcity level.

We’ve seen a number of successful generative art NFT series on Tezos. Examples of well known generative art projects on Tezos so far are Tezzards, PRJKTNEON , and Randomly Common Skelles.

It’s common practice that when these series are sold for the first time, the price is the same amount per piece and collectors can’t see in advance what their NFT looks like. After the sale of a limited number of editions is concluded, a release date is announced on which all NFT characters are revealed. 

fx(hash)

fx(hash) simplifies the launch of a generative NFT series on Tezos. Creating a generative art series on blockchain always takes some coding knowledge though.

fx(hash) is a platform that allows users to create a generative art series using html/css/javascript. The NFTs are stored on the Tezos blockchain. You can find the user guide here.  

fx(hash) is currently in beta. During the beta, the platform minting contract will only be opened 50% of the time. This gives the servers some breathing room to process the mints and release some stress.

Currently, fxhash opens everyday at 11am CET and closes at 11pm CET. This schedule may slightly change. 

fx(hash) also allows collectors to buy and sell the NFTs on a marketplace. The marketplace is open 24/7.
