DNS Already Enables Decentralized Websites For Creators On Tezos, Now They Acquired ‘NFT Hunt’

DNS Acquires NFT Hunt

DNS (Distributed Name System)  allows Tezos users to create their own decentralized website. Users are able to link their on-chain identity to a web page (username.dns.tez), which can also be used as wallet address.

You can use your DNS identity as your decentralized Linktree page, your business-card, your artist NFT showpage, or any way you see fit.

A growing community of artists is starting to use DNS to showcase their NFT’s and create their personal digital business-card.

Now DNS has acquired NFT Hunt. NFT Hunt is a variation of Product Hunt, which is a curation platform that showcases the best new products, every day. NFT Hunt uses data to find the next big NFT in the NFT Space. NFT Hunt does not focus on a specific platform or chain.

“We focus on Artists that have a pretty consistent sales record on both primary and secondary market and Look at the type of community they have to decide what goes onto the site.”

After the acquisition, the site will remain active just as it is now, but with added support from the DNS team. They will be working on building a new Hunt functionality on the site.

Moyo, the founder of NFT Hunt will still be involved in the curation and day to day running of the site. In parallel DNS will build their new Hunt system. Once it is live, we will migrate to that new system.

All NFT artists on NFT Hunt will be invited to Early Access in DNS, and be eligible for future DNS NFT drops. All user data will also be handled by DNS, which will be kept private and secured.
